Volunteer Event Coordinator
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting volunteer opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people together, managing projects and turning ideas into successful events.
Working closely with our team, you’ll help coordinate fundraising and engagement events, identify opportunities for sponsorship, and ensure events run smoothly from planning through to delivery.
The role is primarily remote but requires someone based in London, with occasional attendance at venues, meetings and events.
What you’ll do
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising, engagement and community events
- Coordinate event timelines, logistics and stakeholder communications
- Research venues, suppliers and event opportunities
- Help identify and approach potential sponsors and partners
- Support budget planning and tracking
- Work with the team to ensure events align with NPH UK’s mission and objectives
- Evaluate event outcomes and recommend improvements
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in event planning, coordination or management
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Comfortable managing budgets and tracking event expenses
- Experience seeking sponsorships or corporate partnerships is highly desirable
- Fundraising experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
- Passion for social impact, child rights and the non-profit sector

Time commitment: Around 3 hours per week (flexible, with additional time potentially required during event weeks)
Location: Remote with occasional attendance at events and venues in London
